And babies in jeans. Well, anyone in jeans in a photograph. There is just so much texture and interest.

Mom brought this great gigantic lollipop which had an unfortunate drop right outside my house. We were still able to get a few cute shots with it.

This one is definitely my favorite of this shoot. I love how almost sad he looks here while grabbing mommy's foot for comfort. You would never know the shot right before and after this one were all smiles. I'm think I might like this even more if it were square instead of rectangular.

Weaver kiddos

This is the second year we have taken their Christmas photos. Last year was a bit tough for me with my ever increasing belly making me lumber about AND a newly broken foot to really make it all special! Lisa received a bunch of compliments on the Christmas card she sent out with a 7 picture collage on it. This year she wanted to do something involving some water and as much nature as we could find. We found some lovely rock walls, fences, a cotton patch, old fashioned porch, a barn and a small pond at the Historical Oakview Park. There were only a couple people about and some very nice weather for us.

Lisa is always a nervous wreck when it comes to pictures. I was working my calming magic even with a messy mishap about 15 shots into the shoot. She made it through and was very pleased with the outcome. As you may notice it is very close to Christmas so our shoot was cutting it close. My normal turn around time is between 2-3 weeks, but I let those know who are very anxious to get their photos back quickly they are welcome to come over and watch the kiddos! She decided she would do just that. We ended up spending the entire day together from 10 am when we left to take the photos until about 8 pm when her pictures were viewed and the CD finished. Though really she sat right next to me most of the time watching the editing process.

Logan & my new backgrounds

Some friends of ours came to visit for four days a week ago. Here are three shots of Logan. There are actually a ton even cuter, if that is possible, his mom is going to edit her photos on her own, and I haven't gotten around to doing any others on my end.

One of my favorite photos here! With the chroma key green background. This background allows me to digitally insert a different background when editing.


This is also the chroma key background made brown when editing.


This next shot is of my Blake snarling at the camera. He is sooo funny with his million and one expressions. He was photographed with the new dark brown background.

The Main's

This family was so fun to take pictures of. They definitely have a hip and urban vibe I like to photograph. But really I love all the styles I photograph!

This was the fist time I climbed on something most people wouldn't since getting pregnant with the kids!

I love when I get to take lifestyle photos of kids. When they are in their normal environment doing their normal things the wonderful range of their expressions can be more easily captured.


Madison touches and plays with this mirror both before and after she sleeps. In this photo she must have fallen asleep while reaching out to herself! Soooo sweet.

Anderson is always a pleasure to take pictues of. We do get to see him more then most since we are friends with his parents.
